Horizontal Fire Curtains

Description:

Coopers FireMaster Horizontal Fire Curtain consists of a fire rated fabric that is wound on to a steel tube in a steel box on one side of an opening in a floor or ceiling. At the opposite end sits another steel tube in a steel box onto which winds a steel wire.

A steel bar is attached to the bottom of the fabric as is the steel wire. The steel wire is used to pull the Horizontal Fire Curtain across the opening at the same time the fabric is driven out of its headbox. The edges of the fabric are contained within steel side guides. All of the operation and support mechanisms are contained within the steel boxing around the outside of the void.

NO SUPPORT GUIDE WIRES ARE USED FOR COOPERS FIREMASTER HORIZONTAL FIRE CURTAINS ALLOWING CLEAR UNOBSTRUCTED SPACE THROUGHOUT THE VOID

The Horizontal Fire Curtain can be used in place of many Vertical Fire Curtains around a void or where Horizontal Fire Separation provides the best design solution.
